‘Katy looked up at the ride. Two people were swinging on it as she watched. She
heard of so many accidents on those rides.’
Weekends
‘Isaac sat in his room staring out the window trying to think up another song when
he saw some girl walking down the street. "Is that Dana?" Isaac asked out loud.’
Miss
(You'll have to excuse this story its a little off)
‘"Taylor we shouldn’t have
done this." Isaac sat in the drivers seat stopped at a red light.
Zac was in the back seat staring at the outside world that he missed for so long. Carry
lying next to him with her head in his lap.’
Lots and Lots
‘Right before Taylor pulled out of the gas
station he saw Jamie running towards the car. "Taylor wait, wait for me." She yelled to
him. Taylor stopped
the car at the drive way and Jamie jumped in. "Go, go, go hurry." Jamie still hadn’t
closed the door when she yelled.’
I’m Here
‘He sat there with our baby in his arms. Holding it with all his love. I could tell he
was wondering about me. How I was doing in the emergency room.’
Straight There
‘"You know I have to go by myself. This doesn't have anything to do with you.
You'll be safe here." Isaac looked over at Jane who was fiddling with her over sized
T-shirt. "Promise me that you'll stay here and not even step foot out that door."’
Snowed Out
‘"We have to keep walking. We can't give up now. We're traveled so far we have
to be hitting civilization soon.’
Tuesday Girl
‘"I'll have a cappuccino." She sang. The words were perfect, crisp and sweet.
They rang in my ears as I made her
drink.’
Not Forever
‘I walked down the new hall to what was
supposed to be my new room. Second floor and two doors to the right. I had passed the
first door and on the wall right before the second were pictures, family pictures.’
One Day
‘I sat by that phone pleading it to ring. I didn’t
have the phone number to where he was staying so I couldn’t call him. I soon fell asleep
with the phone cradled in my arms.’
Parties
‘"Isaac I'm going to," I turned around to see no
Isaac. I looked around
the room and finally saw him swooning over a girl trying to make his cheesy moves on
her. "get something to drink." I finished my sentence to myself but out loud.’
Spy
‘Two or three songs had passed when little
Brittany was becoming a little
heavy in Taylors arms. "Shes asleep I'm going to go put her to bed. I'll be right back."
Taylor kissed his wife on the nose and left the room.’
Hero
‘Devon walked quickly through the store and
out into the mall. "Uhf." She
ran into someone and fell backwards but was saved by a pair of strong arms. "I'm sorry." She
apologized with tears rolling down her cheeks. It seemed that the bump had knocked the
tears out of her.’
Roomies
'"Beth." 'Psycho' held her hand out for Taylor
to shake. Donna hadn't even known her name. She hadn't spoken one word to her and
now she was verbal. Donna looked at them with a quizical face. Taylor looked over at
Donna smiling that "Oh I'm sooo good" smile.'
The Stop
'I kept running. I didn't know what to do.
What did he want from me? "Jane please stop I need to talk to you? I have to ask you
something." Taylor went on.'
Air Men
'Amanda and Isaac had planned a trip to
Florida all by themselves. They were going to hop on an airplane and take the long flight
and stay in a hotel all by their lonesome. It was Amandas dream to go to Disney World
since she was ten and it was Isaacs command.'
Opposites
'She sat on a park bench picking at the peeling
brown paint and humming to herself. She stared at everyone as they passed waiting for
someone in particular. Why was he taking so long he told her to met him here at three
o'clock. Five more minutes and she was going back to work.'
The Try Out
When one door closes another one opens.
